Winners of Butcher of the Year 2013

We are proud to announce that we are winners of the Buckinghamshire and Berkshire Life Award for Butcher of the year 2013.

After being nominated by readers, we were chosen as one of the three finalists. This was followed by an impromptu visit from the judges and then we were announced as winners at a glitzy awards ceremony held at Ascot Racecourse at the begining of September.

The judges were particularly impressed with the warm welcome they received and the depth of knowledge shown by the Boycott Farm team.

Finalists of the prestigious FARMA awards 2012

FARMA (Farming and Retail Markets Association) is a recognised body, working to support farmers who have diversified into retail, through farm shops and farmers markets. Each year, after a thorough entry process, they announce finalists in a variety of categories.

In 2012 we reached the finals of the Own and Local category. Ninety percent of everything we sell in Boycott Farm Shop is produced here on the farm or locally so we were really proud to be recognised for this.


Legendary British Bangers

Boycott Bangers have been given Gold!

As a lead up to British Sausage week 2011 (Monday 31st October to Sunday 6th November) we entered two of our most popular sausages into the Legendary British Banger competition.

We are proud to say that our Boycott Traditional Banger and our Gloucester Sausage both acheived Gold Awards. We have always known our sausages were something special but it's great for this to be acknowledged by a panel of sausage experts.
